Storm Surge Invitational June 7-8 2025

The St. Lawrence Lightning are excited to launch the first ever Storm Surge Lightning Invitational Girls Basketball event in Kingston, Ontario.

All teams will receive 4 games and the registration fee will be $675 CAD. There will be no spectator fees!

We are looking for 4 female teams in each of the following age groups:

• U14 (Born in 2011 or later)

• U15 (Born in 2010 or later)

• U16 (Born in 2009 or later)

All games will be played at Queen's University in downtown beautiful Kingston, Ontario, right on Lake Ontario at the start of the St. Lawrence River.

Games will be Saturday, Sunday only but start times may begin as early as 8:30 AM both days. Teams traveling from further away will get later starts on Saturday.

Rules include:

• 4 x 8 minute quarter games (32 minutes)

• Stop time (no running time)

• FULL FIBA rules

• 24 sec shot clock

• No overtime - team could end in a tie
